Stephanie Steel

Operations Director

Stephanie came to Dental Health Associates during May, 2005. Her leadership skills were put to good use as a Clinic Administrator during the establishment and growth of the Gammon Clinic. In December of 2007, Stephanie moved on to lead the Billing Department. In 2016, she was promoted to Operations Director. Stephanie leads the Billing Department, Clinic Administration, and Human Resources. She is located at the South Clinic.

Alan Zoellner - Finance & Administration Director

Alan Zoellner

Finance & Administration Director

Al came to Dental Health Associates during November, 2020 as the Director of Finance & Administration. He brings over 15 years of experience with him having worked in public accounting as an auditor, for a fortune 500 company in credit and collections, and various roles of increasing responsibilities, including executive leadership, in local healthcare agencies. He takes a strategic approach to management and believes strongly in transparency and clear communication. He enjoys working collaboratively with others and building strong personal and professional relationships. Al is located at the South Clinic.

Andrea Bergen

Andrea Bergen

Lead Clinic Administrator

Andrea started with Dental Health Associates in 1995, and quickly advanced to the role of Clinic Administrator. During a brief absence from DHA, Andrea worked at one of Madison’s largest employers and gained valuable experience in organizational leadership, and returned to DHA in 2007. With 25 years of management experience, Andrea particularly enjoys building management-employee relations, while providing employees the opportunity to continually grow within their role and at DHA, and ensuring patients are provided the highest level of care and customer service. Andrea is the Lead Clinic Administrator to the East and University clinics, as well as to the East orthodontics clinics. She is located at the East and University clinics.

 

Melissa Castro

Clinic Administrator

Melissa Castro is the Clinic Administrator at the South Clinic of Dental Health Associates. Melissa’s diverse range of knowledge and her “lead by example” philosophy have equipped her for her current leadership position.

Melissa finds great fulfillment in the customer service aspect of dentistry. She believes that having patients return to DHA time and again, entrusting us with their dental care, is the ultimate reward. In addition to her role as Clinic Administrator, Melissa oversees the endodontics and periodontics clinics.

Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Abner, and their two daughters. As a family, they spend a lot of time outdoors with their two huskies.  In her personal time, Melissa finds joy reading and trying new restaurants.

Stephanie joined Dental Health Associates in February 2022 and has over 20 years of dental experience. Stephanie is a highly organized and detail-oriented person who believes that open communication is key to building long-lasting relationships. She strives to build a positive and collaborative atmosphere that promotes teamwork and allows her staff to achieve their goals. She is committed to providing our patients with a welcoming experience that makes them feel comfortable and cared for from start to finish. Stephanie is the Clinic Coordinator for the West Orthodontics, Fitchburg Orthodontics, and Sun Prairie Orthodontics Clinics and Gammon Clinic. She is located at the Gammon Clinic.

Kelly joined Dental Health Associates in January 2000 as a Dental Assistant at the Fitchburg Clinic. Kelly left Dental Health Associates in 2020 after 30 years of dental assisting to advance her education. Her goal was to someday manage a dental clinic. After graduating, she started her management career in a Periodontal office where she gained clinical management experience and knowledge. She enjoys seeing employees master their craft and grow within an organization. She focuses on a positive culture and open communication between staff and management. Kelly is located at the Old Sauk Clinic.

Sara started her career path at Dental Health Associates in 2017 as a Patient Coordinator at the East Clinic. When our AmCenter Clinic opened in 2019, Sara was promoted to the position of Financial Coordinator as she was focused on diversifying her knowledge and skills to achieve her goal of working in management at DHA.  The various administrative roles she has held has helped her understand how every position works together to create a successful clinic for both patients and employees.  Sara hopes to bring that knowledge with her to create a fun and positive work environment, while providing quality care for our patients. Sara is located at the Sun Prairie and Downtown Clinics.

Purchasing Manager

Dena joined Dental Health Associates in 2008 and represents the organization as Purchasing Manager bringing with her extensive experience in supply chain, purchasing and inventory control management. In her role, she builds collaborative relationships with manufacturers and distributors and uses her experience to evaluate suppliers to meet the mission of providing the highest quality of clean, comfortable and well-equipped clinics for our patients. Dena is located at the East Clinic.

Human Resources Manager,

Cindy joined Dental Health Associates in February of 2011 and has over 25 years of HR/Administrative Office Management experience. Prior to joining DHA, Cindy served as HR/Senior Administrative Assistant to the owner of a private company. Cindy considers herself to be a detail-oriented, objective thinker who is interested in finding real solutions for the benefit of all employees & partners of DHA. Cindy is located at the East Clinic and travels to all of the clinics as needed.

Brian Cruse - DHA Network Administrator

Brian joined Dental Health Associates in January 2013 as a Network Administrator. He came to DHA with 15 years experience in the IT field, starting as a laptop/pc repair tech and working his way up to be a network administrator at a fortune 500 company. His 20+ years in the Army Reserves helped him develop his coaching management style to become a strong and effective leader. Brian is located at our Old Sauk Clinic and travels to all clinics as needed.

Ji-Yeon Ferrin, Billing Manager

Billing Manager

Ji-Yeon started with Dental Health Associates in 2014 as a Patient Account Representative and has since advanced to the role of Billing Manager. After relocating to the United States from South Korea 20 years ago, she started her career as a Dental Assistant and has worked various roles including Clinical Manager. This experience allows her to have not only an understanding of the clinical side of dentistry but also the fundamentals of insurance benefits and billing. Ji-Yeon likes to use critical thinking and problem solving to take ownership over assigned areas while supporting the team. Ji-Yeon believes in positive communication with her team members and building a family culture.  Ji-Yeon is located at the South Clinic.

Sara is the Marketing Manager at Dental Health Associates, overseeing both Dental Health Associates and Momentum Dental Insurance. Known for her positive and energetic personality, Sara is an open-minded, hardworking individual who values open communication, collaboration, and teamwork. Her expertise lies in digital marketing and she is constantly exploring innovative ways to integrate technology across various departments within the organization.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, engaging in activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
