For Quality, Cutting Edge Braces and Orthodontics
Dr. James Milne spent ten years as a dentist in a solo practice before returning to school to become an orthodontist. He moved to Madison to join Dental Health Associates, drawn by "the opportunity to be the first specialist in a well-established, well-respected group dental practice. The affiliation with other professionals has been very rewarding," he says. "I was able to develop from scratch the orthodontic division within DHA."
In his orthodontics practice, Dr. Milne keeps pace with new developments in braces and other orthodontic treatments. "The exciting new topic in orthodontics," he says, "is the use of small bone anchors called TADs." TADs are improving the speed and quality of many treatments and allow tooth movements in directions that were previously not possible.
Dr. Milne enjoys many outdoor and fitness activities, including kayaking, biking and hiking, weight-training and spin classes. He also enjoys spending time in the north woods in Vilas County, and working in the kitchen, preparing meals and cooking.
