Working With Patients One of the Rewards of Dentistry

Dr. Stephen Schasker is a partner and specialist in orthodontics at the DHA's clinics on the south and east sides of Madison.  His interest in dentistry began with the elf-dentist, Hermie, in the old holiday cartoon Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  "What I love about our profession," he says, "is that you get to work with people all day and work with your hands." Dr. Schasker finds that the resources available to dentists at DHA make DHA's group practice especially beneficial to  patients.

With his wife Angie, Dr. Schasker has three young children.  The family enjoys going camping and traveling to the lake areas of northern Wisconsin.  Dr. Schasker has been collecting and repairing antique pocket watches since 1983.  He enjoys tinkering with thirty-year-old motorcycles and the old Fiat convertable he owns.  He also enjoys swimming, bicycling, and playing tennis and basketball.
