Jenna Hang, DMD, MPH, MS

Dr. Jenna Hang is a Periodontist at our Fitchburg Clinic. Dr. Hang, originally from California, now calls the Midwest her home. She attended the University of California, Berkeley and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics with a minor in French. After being heavily involved in organizations addressing the healthcare and wellness needs of the underserved population in the bay area, Dr. Hang decided to pursue a degree in dentistry. She attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health at A.T. Still University, where she also paid homage to her interest in public health and received both her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees. In dental school, Dr. Hang was recognized for distinguished achievements, receiving the AAP Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology as well as the Senior Student Dental Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Hang found periodontology to be the culmination of her areas of interest: public health, surgery, and art. She pursued three additional years of advanced surgical training in periodontology and received both her Master of Science (MS) and Certificate of Periodontology at Marquette University School of Dentistry. She received numerous accolades for her research in the field of guided dental implant surgery.

Dr. Hang is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Midwest Society of Periodontology.  She is committed to remaining on the forefront of evidence-based dentistry, and regularly reads scientific literature and attends continued education courses on the advancements of implantology and periodontal surgeries. She prides herself in treating her patients like family and with warmth and compassion.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Hang enjoys the performing arts, from live music to theatre productions. She also enjoys trying new foods, reading, staying fit, and spending time with her family and friends.
