Matthew Mueller, DDS

Dr. Matthew Mueller is a general dentist at the Dental Health Associates University Clinic, where he offers comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Born and raised in Green Bay, WI, he attended Notre Dame Academy, where he developed a love for music, participating in choir and school musicals. His journey brought him to Madison for his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. There, he earned his degree while actively engaging with the Pre-Dental Society and The MadHatters a cappella group, embracing campus life as a proud Badger.

Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Mueller earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. His decision to pursue dentistry was inspired by his father, who is also a dentist. Seeing firsthand the positive difference his father made in patients’ lives motivated him to join the profession. Since beginning his career, Dr. Mueller has gained valuable experience in private practice in southeastern Wisconsin, providing a broad range of general dental services.

He is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with his patients and is mindful that many people feel anxiety or apprehension about dental visits. Creating a welcoming, comfortable environment is a priority for him, and he treats every patient with the care and respect he would offer family. His clinical interests include restorative dentistry, root canals, dental implants, extractions, and pediatric care.

He and his wife, Hanna, are glad to be back in the Madison area and reconnecting with the Badger community. In his free time, Dr. Mueller enjoys fishing, playing chess, cooking, and spending time with their Chihuahua, Luna. He’s also a lifelong fan of the Packers and Bucks.
