Nick Christianson, DMD
Dr. Christianson was working full time in a pediatric asthma research lab at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health for three years before realizing he wanted more interaction with people and less with pipettes. While starting dental school, he was already a patient of Dr. Jacob Bjork, and was able to receive advice about his future.
When not at work, Dr. Christianson enjoys traveling to national parks and primitive camping, including a 12 day camping trip to Alaska. He loves to brew his own beer at home and going to beer tastings along with watching Badger basketball games. He and his wife, Jessica have two sons Otis and Ivan.

Great dentist! Friendly staff and clean office. Dr. Nick runs a tight ship. - Zach H.
Highly Recommended! Solid Dental Office with great staff. Dr. Christianson does high quality work. Great location with an easy access parking garage. Parking validation available at appointment. - Jordan B.
I was very happy with Dr. Christianson and the rest of the staff at Dental Health Associates of Madison. They were kind, efficient, and did not try to push me into unneeded services or upsell the services I did need. The staff provided me with additional information on my dental health upon request, were very accommodating of scheduling changes, and responded to inquiries in a timely fashion. I went to Dental Health Associates of Madison after dealing with a fraudulent dentist in Fitchburg who tried to scam me into unneeded work -- unfortunately for that clinic, I am the daughter of a dentist who knows good work when I see it! Dr. Christianson and Dental Health Associates of Madison are an excellent choice for anyone looking for honest, professional, friendly care. Highly recommend. - Lisa R.
I’ve have seen Dr. Christianson at the downtown office the last couple of years. The staff is always very friendly, but today I had a new hygienist who was the kindest and most gentle woman. And although I do have a cavity to fill, Dr. Christianson gave me the bad news in some sort of positive teeth compliment sandwich that made me feel oddly comforted while still having a problem. And it was easy to schedule a follow up to get it taken care of. I generally hate the dentist and have horrible dental related anxiety, but I feel very comfortable going to Dr. Christianson. - Jennifer V.
I'm very pleased with Dr. Christianson's work and the overall experience. I'm sort of an easy-to-please guy in general, so I had no idea that my childhood-thru-college dentist was frankly bad and maybe even slightly crooked. - Pete G.
