Has COVID-19 caused you to miss your regular dental hygiene appointment?
Many of our patients will be affected by missed or delayed hygiene appointments as a result of dental office closures during during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, it is more important than ever to practice your best oral hygiene! Here are our recommendations for a health mouth:
- Brush twice per day for two minutes each time. Don’t skimp on the time!
- Floss once per day.
- If you are a periodontal patient that has bone loss around your teeth, using your interproximal brushes once daily will help greatly to fight against disease recurrence.
- Finish up by rinsing with a fluoridated mouthwash.
