Catherine Brumm, DDS
Dr. Cate Brumm is a general dentist at DHA’s University location. Dr. Brumm was a long time DHA patient and was very happy to join the practice as a dentist. She is excited to bring a positive attitude and high energy to building relationships with patients, and getting to know their goals and concerns. As an anxious patient herself, she understands fear at the dentist and strives to make patients feel at home in her chair. She brings a conservative aim to dental treatment, and likes to work with patients’ big picture goals. She also has a passion for treating children and adults with special needs in the office.
Her services include family and general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Botox and Dermal Fillers.
Dr. Brumm is the current president of the Greater Dane Dental Society, and works behind the scenes at the Wisconsin Dental Association as a regional editor for the professional journal. She did her undergraduate education at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, then completed her DDS at Minnesota. After dental school, she returned to Madison to complete her residency at Meriter Hospital, where she worked extensively with oral surgery and operating room dentistry.
When she’s not working, Cate, her husband Ian, and pitbull Monster call Fitchburg home, and love exploring Wisconsin’s outdoors. She is a passionate rock climber and can often be found at Boulders, out on her motorcycle, or at the local skateparks. She loves Madison for its great music scene, laidback culture and many trails. If you see her out running be sure to say hello!
