Qingze Lv, DMD
Dr. Qingze Lv (“Ching Zah Lyu”) hails from Yancheng, China, which is about 3 hours north of Shanghai. He came to the U.S. in 2012 to study at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Science. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, he decided to further his clinical knowledge and experience through a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of Texas in Houston.
During his dental education, Dr. Lv volunteered his time providing comprehensive dental treatment to underserved and vulnerable populations. He was a volunteer clinician at the Sayre Community Health Center in West Philadelphia. He also had additional training and experience in caring for patients with complex medical conditions. During the last year of dental school, he was selected to participate in the school’s pilot program to care for refugees and survivors of trauma.
Dr. Lv and his partner reside in Middleton, Wisconsin. Dr. Lv is an advocate for the arts. In his free time, he enjoys painting, singing, and musical theatre. Dr. Lv’s other passion is food. He likes to taste and cook cuisines from a variety of cultures. His current favorite local dessert is frozen custard, even if it requires some extra rinsing and brushing afterward. He is excited to explore more of Wisconsin and call it home.
